EdTech Awards 2024-Trendsetter Finalist

March 27, 2024 – Finalists and winners for The EdTech Awards 2024 have been announced to a worldwide audience of educators, technologists, students, parents, and policymakers interested in building a better future for learners and leaders in the education and workforce sectors. Among the esteemed finalists is Bruce Davis, CEO of Hudson Global Scholars, recognized for his exceptional leadership in the field of distance education.

“Warm and hearty congratulations to all The EdTech Awards 2024 finalists and winners—very, very well done! The barriers education technology leaders have overcome in the last few years to make it to where they are today—well, that’s a cause for celebration!” said Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the program.

In its 14th year, the U.S.-based EdTech Awards program is the world’s largest recognition program for education technology, recognizing the biggest names in edtech—and those who soon will be. It celebrates the contributions that are transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere.

“We are thrilled to have Bruce Davis named as a finalist in the Ed Tech Trendsetter Awards,” said Danny McElhinny, Head of Global Partnerships. “This recognition underscores our commitment at Hudson Global Scholars to harnessing technology to empower learners and educators worldwide.”

Featuring edtech’s best and brightest, the annual program shines a spotlight on cool tools, inspiring leaders and innovative trendsetters across the K–12, Higher Education, and Skills and Workforce sectors. The EdTech Awards recognize people—and the products they produce and lives they shape— with three main honors:

● The EdTech Cool Tool Awards

● The EdTech Leadership Awards

● The EdTech Trendsetter Awards

The EdTech Awards were established in 2010 to recognize, acknowledge, and celebrate the most exceptional innovators, leaders, and trendsetters in education technology.

Past winners include Adobe, Claned, Soundtrap, Blackboard, Discovery Education, DreamBox, Edthena, Promethean, Scholastic, SMART Technologies, zSpace and more.

This year’s finalists and winners were narrowed from the larger field and judged based on various criteria, including: pedagogical workability, efficacy and results, support, clarity, value and potential.

“Being named a finalist for The EdTech Trendsetter Awards is truly an honor, especially alongside other esteemed contributors,” said Bruce Davis, CEO of Hudson Global Scholars. “It highlights our dedication to unlocking students’ potential through global online delivery of top-tier education.”

Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest Victor Rivero said: “Like our world, the whole of education—from K–12, higher education, workforce learning sectors—is currently in flux. To the fierce, persistent, and indefatigable innovators, leaders, and trendsetters of edtech—we salute you!”
