Mr. Simms is a dedicated Social Studies educator with 17 years of experience across private, public, alternative, and virtual settings, teaching both adolescents and adults. He holds a B.A. in Secondary Education (Social Studies), an M.A. in Political Science, and an M.A. in Athletic Administration, and is certified in Social Studies/Social Sciences (grades 6–12) in Pennsylvania, Florida, and West Virginia. Mr. Simms draws on a broad repertoire of teaching strategies to create a well-rounded, engaging classroom experience.

Ms. Amundson is a seasoned mathematics and computer science educator with over three decades of teaching experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and Computer Science Education from Oklahoma State University and holds Oklahoma teacher certification across the full mathematics spectrum—from Algebra and Geometry to Calculus, Statistics, and Computer Science. Across her long career she has taught mathematics and technology at the elementary, high school, and virtual levels, also serving as a Technology Director.

Ms. Beyer has taught Language Arts for ten years and worked extensively with English language learners as both a teacher and tutor.

Mr. Villegas Serrano is a dedicated bilingual elementary educator with experience across Colorado and Texas classrooms. He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Film Studies and carries elementary teaching credentials in both states—a Colorado Educator Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6) and a Texas Educator Certificate as a Generalist (EC–4) with a Bilingual Education Supplemental in Spanish (EC–4). Mr. Villegas Serrano has served as a bilingual teacher in the Denver and Dallas public school systems, taken on multiple long-term substitute roles, and worked as an online tutor, bringing a strong commitment to supporting dual-language learners.

Having taught learners from sixth grade through adulthood across the life sciences, Chemistry, and Earth Science, Mrs. Zollinger is excited to teach Earth Science, Biology, and Chemistry at Catholic Academy.

She holds double Bachelor's degrees in Communication Arts and Religious Studies from Villanova University and a Master of Arts in Social Justice Theology from the Maryknoll School of Theology. Ms. Rojas has taught Theology from grades 2 through 12 along with Spanish across all levels, plus Life Skills, Career Exploration, and Character Education, weaving faith and service throughout her teaching.
